Religious freedom is tied to the freedom to communicate. This blog examines the religious rights of people who want to worship aloud-- whether it be through religious speech or practices-- and whether or not they're actually allowed to do so within certain countries.
Here is a map that displays countries from Europe, Africa, and Asia that have the most violations in religious freedom. Do any of the countries surprise you?
I feel like for the most part, none of the countries that are seen as "countries of particular concern" or "countries on the watch list" are surprising. A lot of the countries typically have a reputation as being underdeveloped or suppressing. I was a little surprised though that Afghanistan wasn't a country of particular concern.
